We are a group of tour guides, teachers, historians, and storytellers with a shared sense of fun, humor and civic duty.

Ellen!

Chief Streetwalker and hamster wheel maintenance technician.
I keep things rolling while these awesome guides do their thing.

I’ve been leading tours, hikes, kayak trips, day trips and adventures for more decades than I’d care to admit. I love to learn and then I have to share. From tiny tots to “mature adults”, I’ve designed experiences for them all.

My passions lie in art, music (especially the ukulele), architecture, human rights, trivia and comedy.

My tours will be fast paced and full of factoids that may or may not have anything to do with the topic at hand.
The more interactive the tour, the better!

Robert!

Curator of Nibs & Bits

A 4th generation born & raised, Tulsan with way too much factual trivia & trivial facts to keep to myself. Whether it be worthless or useless, is up to you to decide.
I am a lover of architecture, history, interior design, cats, and llamas, antique malls & small-town museums. A perpetual student that gathers nibs & bits of knowledge and tries to meld them into a jello salad of epic proportions. Minus the tuna.

Thanks to a grandmother with a passion for car journeys and walking around Civil War battlefields, I have grown a slightly unhealthy pastime of gathering as much history as I can and what better place to center that interest than in Tulsa, OK? Chicago & KC might be bigger, but nobody compares t the old guys that built this city. Be in honest (it wasn’t) or shady (very) Tulsa’s history is never boring and certainly worth a little walk about to soak up the sights and sounds (and smells if the wind is blowing across the river from the refineries) in Tulsa, OK.

Heidi

First Recruited Streetwalker

Coming from a family of creators, I’ve always been inspired by the artistic energy that I was exposed to from a young age. I also love connecting with the past – the magic and story old things hold.

Kat

Answered to Streetwalker even before she knew that was the name of the company!
We knew her sense of humour would fit RIGHT in!

K. D

Walker & Talker

Okie by birth. Tulsan for the last 22 years. I am looking forward to learning and sharing everything I can about Tulsa’s large variety of culture, history, and traditions.

Slightly new to the tour guide game, but excited to walk and talk with you.

Please look for tours catering to the hearing and/or visually impaired.

John Michael

aka. Fancy Mike

orn in the middle of the only truly global war we have experienced in the year President Franklin Delano Roosevelt secretly visited Tulsa by train. Educated in parochial schools by cloistered nuns through 10th grade. Finished at Will Rogers and Nathan Hale with Gary Busey. Spent 4 Years in U.S. Navy as specialty medical technician. Came home to Tulsa  graduated Tulsa University with BSBA in 1973 and have lived here ever since. So I am basically a 75 year resident.

Norma

Experience in tax credit renovations, State and Federal requirements and critical planning.

My great love for Tulsa it’s history and architecture is directly related  to my dad who shared experiences and stories growing up in this magical city.  Every weekend was a destination, Tour! Whether to rail watching, picnic on top of Chandler Park, walking riverside, the homes oil built, listening to Tulsa Philharmonic in venues throughout the city, visits to Villa Philbrook, Gilcrease Museum or just taking in the city skyline on top of Reservoir Hill all while taking in the stories and history of the people who built this majestic city.

Tracy

Born and raised in Boston, I spent the next few decades in Southern California split between LA, Orange County, and San Diego. So after living on both coasts, it was obvious it was time to move to the middle of the country. So long 70 & sunny, hello 4 seasons – sometimes all in one day!

I love traveling, discovering new places, and meeting new people…And if you ask what my favorite trip is, I’ll undoubtedly respond, “the next one!” I get intoxicated researching the places I want to see, visit, and explore, so being a guide with Streetwalker Tours is right up my alley.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I’m excited to share a little slice of Tulsa with you!

Mark

I recently returned to Tulsa after a 28-year stint in Pennsylvania. I received my MA from the University of Tulsa and my Ph.D. from the University of Missouri, retiring as a Professor Emeritus from Slippery Rock University (yes, it is a real place). I am interested in the arts, popular culture, and the history of music so Tulsa is a perfect place to explore those obsessions. But I am also interested in all aspects of the history of this beautiful and fascinating city. I have spent decades holding the attention of college-age students so I guarantee that on a tour with me, you will laugh, you might cry, and you will certainly learn something.
