Cyrus Avery: The Father of the Mother Road!

Come with us as we travel back to when Tulsa grew from a cow town to a boom town and the man responsible for the road that put Tulsa on the map. You will be transported to the years when the

United States was moving from steam to internal combustion engines and follow Avery’s life from his birth in Stevensville, Pennsylvania, to his dramatic time in the growing rich oil town of Tulsa and the enormous influences he made on this City’s growth. Visit where East meets West in the place that opened the gate way to what we know as Tulsa, Oklahoma.
